Hennessy x KAWS Chicago Launch Party

Wednesday night, Hennessy held a small launch party at Blackbird for their limited edition collaboration bottle with artist KAWS. Every guest was treated with a bottle and a bag designed by KAWS himself.

The dinner, created by Blackbird’s chefs, infused Hennessy in all of the entrees and deserts and had a signature drink with each course. Very classy stuff.

The bottle is currently available for pre-sale at RSVP Gallery, so stop by their shop to pick one up. The KAWS bottle will launch to the public in just a few weeks, so stay tuned for more information on when and where you can purchase.

50 Cent Talks Fabolous/Ray J Scuffle

50 Cent called into Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 show last night (September 20)  to give his side of the Fabolous/Ray J scuffle that happened last weekend at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas.

As previously reported, the Brooklyn MC and the R&B singer both gave conflicting accounts of what happened on rival station, Power 105.1 FM on Monday. Ray claimed he punched Fab in the face over some tweets that Loso posted making fun of the crooner’s appearance on the HBO boxing show 24/7, while the Street Fam rep denies he was ever hit.

50, who witnessed the altercation first hand, told Flex that while Ray J did swing at Fab, he never actually connected, and the scuffle ended there. “There was a swing but it didn’t land on anything,” Fif clarified. [Listen above]

“I think [Ray J] had a lil bit of juice in him,” 50 added, referring to the fact that the crooner may have had a few drinks of alcohol.

Asked if he instigated the fight, Fif said, “If I don’t pump you up on purpose it’s not my fault. If I pumped you up without saying anything, because I’m there, how could you blame me?”

In fact, the G-Unit General said he got between the two artists before the incident had a chance to escalate.

Meanwhile, Ray J took to Twitter yesterday to apologize to his fans for his explosive interview on Monday morning with The Breakfast Club, where he threatened to have Fabolous beat up.

You never know what you may find on the internet. While browsing the web as I normally do, I came across this video which shows Yeezy and Jeezy supposedly working on TM103. Someone broke Mr. West’s camera rules, huh? Forgive me if some of you may have seen it, but I’m sure a majority of the e-streets haven’t. I just want to know the whereabouts of all of the tracks these two recorded together.

T.I. Released From Jail

T.I. has just returned to a halfway house to complete his prison sentence — this after he was yanked out of the halfway house last week and returned to prison for allegedly engaging in shenanigans on his tour bus.

As TMZ first reported, prison officials sent U.S. Marshals to the halfway house last week, after concluding T.I. had unauthorized people on the bus that transported him there. Officials also claimed T.I. conducted business on the bus — something his reps strongly deny.

T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, tells TMZ, “We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights by providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information and that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.”

Sadow adds, “T.I. will be released from custody on Sept. 29, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of 1 year.”
